Daily Devotional

This is one of my favorite passages. It shows me that the priests demonstrated their faith by walking into the water. And as soon as they did the waters were cut off. Sometimes it takes us walking into a situation for the Lord to reveal His power.
 
We leased our car 3 years ago (if you want to know what I learned about leasing you can ask me) and the lease is up in a couple of months so we are in the process of looking for another car. This is not a process I enjoy. I’d love for the Lord to just immediately tell me what car to get. But I know that in order for Him to do that we have to walk into the process, and then He can show us.
 
I know buying a car is not a really deep subject and there are much more serious decisions that we make; but, I still want to make the right choice. So the faith process is still the same. The verse, “Lord…we don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on you” has come up several times (2 Chronicles 20:12).

I’m grateful that I have a patient and merciful Savior who loves to walk ahead and behind me. But His is also walking beside me as I step into the water with faith.
 
Maybe there’s something the Lord is asking you to do or somewhere the Lord is asking you to go. Remember, you may need to step into it before you see His power. Keep the Faith!!
