Numbers 7:88
"Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim, thus He spoke to him."
Sometimes I just really need to know the Lord is with me and that He will speak to me. This week was one of those times. So when I read this as I began my week, I was comforted. But one of the stipulations to Moses hearing God's voice was that he needed to position himself to hear God's voice. He went into the tabernacle where he knew God would speak to him. I knew that I would need to spend time with the Lord, reading His Word, speaking to Him in prayer, and listening to what the Spirit was saying each day more than ever.
I need to do this everyday...But it was precious that as I was praying for the Lord to be with me this week, He encouraged me to continue in it and comforted me by His assurance that He would be there for me.
I need to do this everyday...But it was precious that as I was praying for the Lord to be with me this week, He encouraged me to continue in it and comforted me by His assurance that He would be there for me.
