DAY 11: The Core Issue

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality...” (1 Thessalonians 4:3).

Fundamentally, much of the battle for the lives of unwanted babies is also a fight for the world to understand God’s perfect design for sexual purity and personal holiness. Most abortions are pursued by people who are experiencing one of the many consequences of their sexual sin. It is God’s desire and calling that we be pure. He also promises He will enable us to handle sexual temptation. The only issue: We must want to stop our immorality in all its forms and stop it now! 

“No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Suggested things to pray for:

• Pray that God would give us the wisdom to teach His Word and uphold His holy standards as an example to others.
